Welcome!

I am so glad you are here!

It is challenging to be a parent…sometimes children or teenagers behave in ways that we do not understand.  When these behaviors are difficult to manage, parents can find themselves feeling overwhelmed, guilty, or frustrated with their child or teen.  Sometimes it can be hard to know whether these are normal, developmental behaviors, or whether your child could benefit from professional help.  As a therapist trained to work with children and families, I can help you make that evaluation and understand your child’s behaviors, and provide warm, supportive therapy to your child and family.

“Relationships Matter Most”

Many people seek therapy to get help with their personal relationships.  For instance, people may have difficulties with communicating effectively or resolving conflicts with others.  If you find that you are struggling in your relationships with your child, family, or significant other, I can help by providing you with the necessary skills that lead to stronger, healthier relationships.  Therapy can also be a supportive atmosphere for you to talk about and learn to cope with any experience causing you distress.  As a licensed mental health professional, I can help you explore ways to feel happier, more emotionally connected in your personal relationships, improve communication with others, reduce stress/anxiety, and have increased confidence in your ability to handle difficult life situations.

If you are interested in finding positive solutions that work for you, your child, or your family, then please contact me today.  I am looking forward to hearing from you!
